Who are we?

University of the West of Scotland (UWS). We are a multi-campus university located in Paisley, Lanarkshire, Ayr, Dumfries and London.

What do we do?

We offer over 60 undergraduate programmes in business; computing; creative industries; education; engineering; health; life sciences; physical and chemical sciences; social sciences; sport and graduate apprenticeships.

Moving onto university is a big step and we want to help you to achieve your goals and succeed so we will help you prepare for that by telling you about the student support available and talk about things you can do to help you prepare for this next step.

We will finish by giving you a few tips to help you with your Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) personal statement.

During this session, we will explain what to expect next, from receiving offers and understanding what your offer means; replying to offers; extra and clearing.

You will learn what to expect next in the UCAS application process and learn about back-up plan opportunities should you need them.
