Who are we?

Your Pay Your Way is a social enterprise working across Scotland. On our school programme, you will find either Elizabeth, Adele or Leta visiting your classroom.

What do we do?

We offer a programme of Financial Education that incorporates other ‘life’ elements, such as thinking about sustaining yourself at university, running a home, meal planning and planning for big life events.

We don’t tell anyone how to spend their money, we want you to have the ability to make informed decisions about how you spend your money.

Our sessions are interactive and conversational.

What is our session about?

 Our sessions are all about thinking of the ‘why’ of the financial decisions you make:

• ‘….why did I buy a takeaway when I could have bought a week’s food shop?’
• ‘…why did I buy a new outfit for a night out instead of new trainers?’
• ‘…what could I spend £100 a month on instead of spending £5 every day on my lunch?’
• ‘.how can I make sure I hit my savings goal?’

What will you gain from attending?

You will leave our session with a solid understanding of basic financial terms and the ability to make financial decisions with greater confidence. You will be better able to understand the reasons behind financial and life decisions, in turn reducing stress around making choices in these areas.
