Social Enterprise Academy
Who are we?
Social Enterprise academy.
What do we do?
Social Enterprise Schools enables every young person to step up, realise their potential, and create the change they want to see in the world.
By giving young people a real-life experience of running their own social enterprise in school, this fully-funded programme delivers transformational learning which impacts both them and their community.
What is our session about?
Our facilitators, all social entrepreneurs themselves, bring our interactive session into your classroom and inspire your young people to share their ideas and build their social enterprise. We help them identify the issue that matters to them and then come up with a plan to start a business that tackles this issue.
What will you gain from attending?
Attending this session isn’t just a chance to learn about an idea of what Social Enterprise is. It’s about actually getting out and starting one yourself. You will learn all of the skills it takes to run a business while at the same time being able to see the difference that you can make to your chosen social issue. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in our local authority wide Sharks tank event.
