Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to implement a 30 miles per hour speed restriction on A721 Motherwell Road and a 40 miles per hour speed limit on A721 Bellshill Road and Motherwell Road.
In addition, the Strathclyde Regional Council (Restricted Roads) (Transitional) Order 1985 is to be amended by deleting the undernoted reference in its entirety:
- A section of the A721 Principal Road (Motherwell Road)

Any person wishing to object to the proposal must do so in writing to the Head of Legal and Democratic Solutions, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or by sending an email to troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 9 November 2022.
Objections must contain the name, address and contact details of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
