B802 Glenmavis Road, Glenmavis - Proposed Speed Limit Order

Notice is hereby given that North Lanarkshire Council propose to consider the introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order, the effect of which will be to implement a 40 miles per hour speed restriction on B802 Glenmavis Road, Glenmavis from a point 28 metres southeast of the extended south kerbline of Woodhead Crescent, south-eastwards to a point 313 metres north-west of the extended north kerbline of Dykehead Road, a distance of 459 metres or thereby. 

In addition, each of the undernoted Orders are to be amended: 

  • The Burgh of Airdrie (Carlisle Road – A73) (40 MPH Speed Limit Order 1967.
  • The Strathclyde Regional Council (Restricted Roads) (Transitional) Order 1985.
  • The North Lanarkshire Council (St Edwards and Tollbrae Primary Schools, A73 Motherwell Street and A73 Carlisle Road, Airdrie) 30 MPH and Part Time 20 MPH Speed Limit Order 2014.

Any person wishing to object to the proposal must do so in writing to the Head of Legal and Democratic Solutions, North Lanarkshire Council, Civic Centre, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell ML1 1AB or by emailing troconsultation@northlan.gov.uk no later than Wednesday, 9 November 2022.

Objections must contain the name, address and contact details of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
